Reference Condition Summary Tables

Rapid Assessment reference condition summary tables delineate, in tabular format, the reference conditions used to calculate Rapid Assessment fire regime condition class. The summary tables list the estimated pre-EuroAmerican settlement succession class proportions, mean fire return interval, and the dominant fire regime group for each potential natural vegetation group (PNVG). These summary tables were generated from state-and-transition models created by local experts at 12 regional modeling workshops and can be used as inputs to calculate fire regime condition class using the Interagency Fire Regime Condition Class Guidebook procedures.
