LANDFIRE LF_1.1.0 (Refresh 2008) data are available: LANDFIRE 1.1.0 data are now available through the LANDFIRE Data Distribution Site, and specific region availability can be determined from the LANDFIRE Data Availability Map.

Background:
Available LF_1.1.0 data include seven fuel layers – Forest Canopy Cover, Forest Canopy Height, Canopy Bulk Density, Canopy Base Height, Fire Behavior Fuel Model 13, Fire Behavior Fuel Model 40, and Fuel Characteristic Classification System Fuelbeds – and three existing vegetation layers – Existing Vegetation Cover, Existing Vegetation Height, and Existing Vegetation Type. The LF_1.1.0 process started with LF_1.0.5 data and incorporated disturbances (fire, vegetation management, weather, etc.) and succession through 2008.
