ArcMap Problems with Colormap: Some pixel values appear blank.

Background:

Pixel values of four or more digits will not automatically display their color and will appear blank within ArcMap and ArcCatalog.

Advice:

The Unique Values option must be selected from the Symbology tab under Layer properties. Right click on the layer name in the Table of Contents window and select Properties. Click on the Symbology tab in the Layer Properties window. Select Unique Values. In addition, select the attribute to display in the Table of Contents of ArcMap in the Value Field drop down menu.
