prescribed fire Tallahassee The LANDFIRE Project was completed in the fall of 2009. As the project wrapped up, a general management evaluation (GME) was conducted. The GME focused not only on how the project performed, but more importantly, highlighted recommendations for this initiative to be successful as it transitions to program status providing for operations and maintenance activities. The GME was conducted by an independent, third-party review team from METI, Inc. (Management and Engineering Technologies International) retained by contract. The GME team conducted over 100 interviews, assessed the literature for evaluations and maturity modeling, and reviewed program documents as the foundation for its report.

The below documents provide details on the GME's observations, findings, and recommendations.
