Elevation

Product Description Elevation represents land height, in meters, above mean sea level. Elevation data for LANDFIRE were provided by the Elevation Derivatives for National Applications (EDNA) dataset. EDNA topographic data were derived from the National Elevation Dataset (NED). NED comprises merged 7.5 minute quadrangle topographic data resulting in a high quality, consistent elevation data set that spans the entire United States. The units of measurement for the LANDFIRE Elevation layer are meters above mean sea level.
